Agreement enhances local commitment to behavioral healthcare

LAKE COUNTY, Indiana - Franciscan Health is partnering with US HealthVest to provide management services for behavioral health programs across its Lake County hospitals beginning May 1.

Under the agreement, US HealthVest will manage adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatric units, the detoxification program and outpatient psychiatric services at Franciscan Health Dyer. In addition, US HealthVest will provide psychiatric consultation and navigation services in the emergency departments at Franciscan Health Crown Point, Dyer and Munster.

Adolescent programs at the St. Francis Center at Franciscan Health Dyer will remain under Franciscan Health’s management. All physicians within the Franciscan Physician Network will continue to be employed by Franciscan Alliance.
