Surgeon Joins Neurosurgical Team At Franciscan Health In Central Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Dr. Bryan Schatmeyer has joined the neurosurgical team at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.
Dr. Schatmeyer, who practices exclusively at Franciscan Health, is a neurosurgeon from Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine. He brings expertise in spinal deformity and complex spinal conditions.

Dr. Schatmeyer earned his medical degree through a competitive, accelerated six-year BS/MD program at the Northeast Ohio Medical University, graduating with highest honors. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Kansas Health System.
Based out of the Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine Greenwood and Greensburg locations, Dr. Schatmeyer will care for patients at the Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus.
Specializing in the treatment of adult scoliosis, kyphosis and other spinal deformities, Dr. Schatmeyer offers advanced surgical techniques that enable patients to receive comprehensive evaluation, surgical care, and post-operative follow-up close to home.
Dr. Schatmeyer joins Drs. Karsten Fryburg, Daniel Spomar and Kushal Shah, further enhancing the depth of the neurosurgical team at Franciscan Health, where patients have access to care for the full spectrum of brain and spine conditions, from the simple to the most complex.
Dedicated to a patient-centered approach, Dr. Schatmeyer believes every individual’s condition is unique and deserves a personalized care plan.
