Our Approach
Breast cancer is a serious but highly survivable disease, impacting hundreds of thousands of people each year. At Franciscan Health, we realize the key to battling breast cancer is prevention and early detection. We offer a range of tests and screening options as well as a combination of treatments which may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and targeted hormone therapy.
At our breast cancer centers, our oncology team – comprised of pathologists, oncologists and surgeons – schedule appointments for newly diagnosed patients within 72 hours and work closely with Oncology Nurse Navigators to coordinate treatment.
