Our Approach
Individualized physical, occupational and speech therapy sessions, a variety of treatment techniques and evidence-based practice are utilized to maximize the benefits of exercise throughout the disease process for any cancer diagnosis. Cancer rehabilitation can address functional issues such as weakness, soft tissue tightness, joint stiffness, fatigue and swelling (edema). Outpatient therapy staff work with the medical team to design components of a survivorship care plan to enhance overall functional outcomes, reduce the development of long-term issues and manage or resolve issues that arise during and after cancer treatment.
