Our Approach
The infection prevention and control program at Franciscan Health has been tasked with ensuring the safety of our patients, physicians and staff by coordinating many activities designed to prevent, control and investigate communicable diseases. Our experienced physicians on-call specialize in the treatment of infectious diseases and have privileges at each of our hospitals. These physicians have access to a broad range of diagnostic testing through the hospital and our states' Department of Health.
We boast one of the largest, most experienced group of infectious disease specialists in the Midwest, as all of our physicians are double or triple board-certified and work closely with primary care physicians to provide our patients with high-quality, comprehensive care.

- Full-service on-site laboratory
- Inpatient and outpatient care
- Ambulatory infusion services
- Travel medicine clinics to serve individuals who are traveling to areas where they will be exposed to diseases in which they have no immunities.
