About
Moving Beyond is an 8-week program that offers exercise with an instructor, guided lessons in stress reduction, healthy eating and lifestyle habits, confidence building strategies and emotional support. We offer both an in-person class in Indianapolis and a virtual class.
This program is open to anyone who has had a cancer diagnosis, as well as family and support person(s). Whether you or your loved one has been recently diagnosed or already completed treatment, we invite you to join us.

When you register for the Moving Beyond program, you will receive a free program kit.
This kit will include:
- Weekly educational booklets
- Exercise band
- Yoga mat
- Exercise booklet

Dates & Times
Moving Beyond meets at the following times with virtual and in-person options:- Tuesdays: 5:30-7:30 PM
- Thursdays 1:30-3:30 PM
If you select a virtual class, a staff member will contact and assist you before classes begin.

What happens during a Moving Beyond session?

Yes, it is expected that you will attend all eight sessions because each session builds upon the knowledge gained in the prior class.How much does it cost to attend Moving Beyond?
This program is free to cancer survivors, their family and friends.
What if I've never exercised before?
No problem! This program is geared toward beginners. The exercises are gentle and duration of exercise progresses slowly each week.
I recently had surgery. Is it okay for me to exercise?
Please speak with your doctor prior to beginning Moving Beyond.
Can I bring a family member or friend with me?
Yes! Our program is open to survivors and the people who support them. It's often good to have a partner when making a lifestyle change. If a friend or family member is willing to participate, we welcome them!
Who can attend the virtual class?
Virtual classes are open to any cancer survivor, their friends and family, no matter where they live or where they received treatment.
I've never done a virtual class before, how will this work?
A staff member will call and help you before classes begin.
