Current Visitor Guidelines
Updated: April, 21, 2025
Franciscan Health recognizes the importance interaction with family members has on our patients. Because of this, Franciscan Health has put the following visitation practices in place effective April 21, 2025.
- Visitation hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Only two visitors per patient are allowed to visit at a time (excluding clergy who are part of the care team).
- Some units have age restrictions in place for visitors, so it is best to call the unit your loved one is in before visiting with a child.
- For units that allow children to visit, children under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times by an adult visitor and not left alone.
- Patients can designate 1-2 care partners during their stay. One care partner may stay overnight with the patient to provide support and comfort.
- Visitors are expected to follow isolation precautions for applicable patients and if they are unable to comply with these precautions, will be asked to leave.
- Those having symptoms suggestive of illness, including, but not limited to: cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, diarrhea, tiredness, headache and vomiting, will not be allowed to visit.
- Visitors should continue to practice good hand hygiene.
Franciscan Health reserves the right to restrict visitation in the interest of safety for the patient and/or staff members.
