Our Approach
We know that for parents of a baby who needs special care in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The excitement of welcoming a new member to the family can be tempered with worries. Wanting to be at the hospital with the baby, but needing to be at work, or home caring for other children can be a stressful tug on their hearts. AngelEye® cameras allow parents and family to log in and see teir baby through a live video stream, even in the darkest environments with the camera's unique infrared technology.
Easing the stress of being away from the baby can help mothers emotionally and physically.
- When a mother is up in the middle of the night to pump, she can check in on her baby, which promotes milk production.
- It can also help with postpartum depression.
AngelEye® helps babies too.
- Hearing parents and siblings talk to them, sing or read a bedtime story can improve the babies' development.
- The technology also promotes family bonding, making for a smoother transition when the baby goes home.
