Franciscan ExpressCare urgent care locations provide convenient attention for patients who need immediate care, but do not require a trip to the emergency room. Our urgent care providers are ready to treat many illnesses and injuries in-person or via a virtual visit.

Urgent care clinics are typically faster and less expensive than an emergency room visit. No appointment is needed and most insurance plans are accepted.

When to go to the Emergency Room (ER) instead of Urgent Care

If you have a serious condition severe bleeding, head injury or other major trauma, or believe that you might be experiencing symptoms of a stroke or heart attack – call 911 immediately and do not attempt to drive yourself to the emergency room. Don’t take a chance with anything that is potentially life-threatening.

Franciscan ExpressCare Virtual Visits are available on nights and weekends and save you a trip to the urgent care by bringing the care to you virtually anywhere. Virtual visits are available for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries and appropriate for patients aged two and older.

In addition, our providers can also handle some services more commonly treated by a primary care provider, such as preventative care, illnesses, routine screenings, even prescription refills.

Most virtual visits are covered by insurance. For those who are self-pay or not using insurance, the cost starts at $69.
